Reasons to be cheerful…Days 1-4

Filed under: Blog — Ad @ 5:42 pm

I can’t exactly how it came about last year but both Baggy and I, posted a reason to be happy each day of advent. It was probably to do with how crappy this time of the year can feel, with the crappy weather and dark nights. Even though a chocolate a day from my advent calender makes me happy, i will look for something to write here to cheer me up and everyelse, well that’s the idea. It is both a way for me to stay postive aswell as using my blog everyday.
Day 1 - I’ve been featured on a student comedy website, Go team

Day 2 - I finally go to the World famous comedy store in London with my friend Gemma, review to come soon.

Day 3 - I finally experienced a hassle free experience whilst on public transport, i wasn’t fined, delayed or lost.

Day 4 - Got a night off from work tonight, it’s good to have an evening with absolutly nothing to do.

That last post has made me look silly now!

Yeah i didn’t manage to stick to the whole ‘writing everyone’ malark! oh well! I started my new job at the Belgrade Theatre, it seems great so far! Also there are many benefits such as free and cheap tickets! i plan to take full advantage of this. There is nothing like a bit culture now and again.

The Belgrade Theatre offically opens this Friday with a Gala Night, which should be great! I had a flick through the new programme today and the upcoming shows look great. the full list of upcoming productions is on the Belgrade’s website

‘Oooh he really is sticking to it’

Today once again was a day of great procrasination, although i am supposed to be applying for a job, i ended up watching both: the planet’s funniest animals, which included dogs that could play pool. I also watched Strictly come dancing, which missed the brilliant Brucie babe. They had kids dancing in an interval, i find kids dancing seriously in a competive type way seriously disturbing i don’t know why, it just makes me physically sick. little lads should skid around the dance floor on their knees!

RIGHT! I AM SO GONNA WRITE ON THIS EVERYDAY

Filed under: Blog — Ad @ 4:11 pm

hehe! i was just so lazy back then i just couldn’t be bothered to take caps lock off halfway throught the sentence! true, it would have been quicker and easier to sort that out rather than rambling on for a few sentences but hey!

This is the first day of many where i intend to write everyday! it gonna be full of my thoughts on life…oh dear!

In the time off i have had away from this site, i have managed to find a job at the Belgrade theatre in Coventry, which is rather nice so far! the Belgrade theatre opens this Monday and will be a very impressive, it is part of Coventry’s current re-generation!

I had to move around furniture today and discovered that one of the builders who currently works there talks like a bird, and that is not me being sexist…i mean an actual bird. it is most bizarre.

that is all for today as i am so tired!

London: Homeys, Mice and loads of rain

Filed under: Blog — Ad @ 12:38 pm

need i write anymore, i believe the title kinda covers it all really!

but as its you guys i will expand a little! after being stuck in Cambridge playing PS2 as Matt was ill and me not exploring Cambridge on my own due to the fear of getting lost. When i finally did venture outdoors it started raining and it seemed to rain the whole time i was in London. That of course did not to spoil my sightseeing trip conducted for free by my homey Gemma. Saw Buckingham Palace, St. Stephen’s Tower which some wrong people call big ben, it was an educational trip.
Due to Sam’s uni work, i didn’t really see him while i was in London but he allowed me to crash at his place but he failed to tell me that i would be sharing my room with mice. I spent the whole night standing on the bed with a shoe in my hand, just in case the mice attacked me, i was too scared to go to bed due to the fear of waking up with a mouse tail hanging out of my mouth, thats what always seems to happen in chuckle brothers episodes and cartoons.

When i told Sam about the mice, i asked if the scratching kept me up, i said “no it was the fact they might attack me”, its not just me being unmanly is it? but who would sleep in a room with mice in it with no fear?

Anyways im back now in Coventry with nothing to do! rah! im going back to Cambridge and London in a few weeks, hopefully it won’t rain as much as last time and there will be no mice!

Now off to London

Filed under: Blog — Ad @ 11:58 pm

Had fun in Cambridge, it was good to see Matt and Helen. Although it still hasn’t sunk in yet that i am no longer a student and therefore i am currently unemployed! need to join the real world!

anyways, next stop is ‘good old london town tomorrow’! can’t wait to see Sam tomorrow, i haven’t heard from him or spoke to him in ages! this will mean i will miss the RAW show tomorrow, although Marc is taking over for one week. (well hopefully, i don’t want him to be amazing which in turn may lead to my ousting)
This time in London i won’t be hanging out by myself, im going to hang out with my homey Gemma. It was so weird last year trying to entertain myself while Sam was at uni whilst trying to stay out of trouble.

good luck to anyone with exams left. i really do pity you.

‘going now. love you. bye’

Live From Cambridge!

Filed under: Uncategorized, Blog — Ad @ 2:01 pm

hello! haven’t updated this for a while so thought i write something! i know everyone must of have missed my comments on the world. I’ve been revising so much i haven’t had time to come on here!

As i write this, i am in Cambridge after a full day of playing brian lara cricket! I came to visit Matt but all the excitement of a visit from me has made him ill! You just can NOT get the staff!

A couple of things i have noticed from tv at the moment is the table of food in the Kerry Katona Iceland Adverts and the table of food from ‘you are what you eat’ are exactly the same! also in that show when she prepares food for the people (the fat chavs) and stores it in tubberware boxs, am i the only one who wouldn’t fancy eating anything she puts in those tubs on account of she also stores turds in them in the first half of the show. (although maybe they aren’t the same tubs, i still would NOT fancy it)

Life On Mars

Filed under: Blog — Ad @ 3:59 pm

was i the only one who thought the ending was such a cop out!

for 15/16 episodes, the introduction asked the questions: “Am I mad? In a coma? back in time”?

so why not f***king answer the questions!

i wasted 8 hours of my life watched 2 series!
